Our Staff

Our activities are run by qualified teachers and assisted by sports leaders or teaching assistants. All of our staff have significant experience of working with children and undertake professional development training. All staff members are CRB checked. We maintain a staff/child ratio of 1:8 for children under the age of eight, in line with statutory requirements.

Staff also have designated roles:

If you have a query or concern at any time, please speak to a member of staff at the club when you collect your child. If you prefer to arrange a more convenient time for a meeting please contact the manager.

Rebecca Harman – Manager

Qualifications: BSC Hons PE + QTS, Paediatric First Aid, Advanced GNVQ Dance teaching and Aerobics, Level1 Badminton coach, Level 1 Hockey Coach, Level 1 Netball Coach, Level 1 Trampolining, ASA Swimming Coach.

I have 13 years PE teaching experience including head of girls PE, head of year and head of department and Science. My recent specialisms include international visits where I have led student trips to Turkey and Mauritius. I have also been responsible for developing student leadership across a large secondary school and within local primary schools.

Louise Nash – Assistant Manager

Qualifications: BA HONS Sports development and PE, PGCE Secondary PE, Level 1 Hockey Coach, Level 1 Netball Coach, Level 1 Futsal Coach, KS3/4 Tennis Course, Teachers Trampolining Award.

I have 8 years PE teaching experience including second i/c of the PE department and head of the dance department. My recent specialisms include residential and day trips in terms of enrichment and confidence boosting. I strongly believe that each child is an individual and that being active and socialising is key to a child’s happiness.

Tom Smith – Assistant Manager

Qualifications: BA HONS PE + QTS, Level 1 Basketball Coach, Level 1 Tennis Coach, Level 1 Gymnastics Coach, Level 1 Badminton Coach, Level 2 Football Coach, Level 1 Trampolining Coach, Level 1 Athletics Coach, Level 1 Rugby Coach, Level 1 Futsal Coach.

I have 8 years PE teaching experience including Head of year and whole school responsibility for behaviour and inclusion. I love all sports from football to dodgeball. I am passionate about getting all kids engaged and enjoying activity.
